Through an inclusive strategy, movement education helps children develop confidence, self-expression, self-care, and inner peace. Community Movement Alliance is committed to education, community, and narrowing the gap on the lack of access to art programs for every person. Every child deserves the same access to health, wellness, and art no matter where or how they live.

who we are
Community Movement Alliance uses a student-centered method to inspire students to express themselves authentically, and is designed to uplift their spirits as well as strengthen their bodies. Our environment is one of safety and encouragement, where students can ask questions, make decisions, and think critically.
Our creative programs focus on teaching students real-life coping skills and communication techniques to empower themselves. Students learn to use mindful awareness and breathing exercises to help them reduce stress and anxiety, and also help them develop concentration and self-awareness. Our programs help children foster trust in others and confidence in themselves so they can effectively communicate their feelings.
All of our programs are taught by esteemed, experienced, faculty who all work toward the same goal, no matter the movement discipline. That goal is to encourage personal development, healing, improved self-esteem, improved body image, and health and nutrition.
